It's now been two weeks since the events of Monday Night Concussion but for some of us the memory is still very fresh, The Miz and Austin Aries had just defeated the team of EC3 and Brodus Clay when ReDragon hit the ring and layed out all four competitors after a hard fought match, later doing the same thing in the other tag team match..sending a message to the tag division or more importantly MVP and Bobby Lashley. This week on Monday Night Concussion The Miz and Austin Aries will attempt to move forward as they face Cesaro and Tyson Kidd in tag team competition, the last episode of Concussion before The Last Stand and we'll see if The Miz and Austin Aries can continue to have success heading into the pay per view. For these answers and so much more tune into Monday Night Concussion live from the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey on Fox Sports 1.

[ fade up AEW logo ]

The logo for AEW fades away and the scene opens with a far back view of a hotel in Newark New Jersey on a cold and snowy day, the camera then zoomed in on the hotel and we see just how luxurious it looks on the outside, a tall building with a red sign for the Marriott that you can't miss on the side. The scene now moves inside one of the rooms of the hotel and the first thing that you notice is all the red throughout the room and decorated with expensive decor, not a single cheap thing in the whole room..more like an apartment then a hotel. The camera moves to the living room as we see The Miz and Austin Aries sitting on a black leather couch, sitting across from them is a big flat screen television thats paused at the moment. The Miz starts to look around the room, in awe of how nice the room is.

king of the mizfits | THE MIZ;
"I gotta say..this is a really nice room."

the greatest man that ever lived | AUSTIN ARIES;
"I know...exactly what the greatest tag team deserves."

Austin Aries grabs the remote from the coffee table just in front of them and presses play, right away we can see its the match from two weeks ago and its close to the end of the match. The Miz looks at the television but looks back at Austin Aries and begins to speak.

king of the mizfits | THE MIZ;
"Had a feeling you'd be watching that, man."

the greatest man that ever lived | AUSTIN ARIES;
"It's not everyday you see that much talent in one ring!"

king of the mizfits | THE MIZ;
"I couldn't agree with you more."

Both The Miz and Austin Aries just look at the television and watch as The Miz delievers the Skull Crushing Finale to Brodus Clay, followed by the 450 splash from Austin Aries.

the greatest man that ever lived | AUSTIN ARIES;
"Now, thats why we're the best tag team in the history of this business!"

The Miz just smiles and once again begins to speak.

king of the mizfits | THE MIZ;
"Like there was any doubt about that."

From there the match takes a turn for the worse and one of the last things we see before Austin Aries pauses the footage is all four men being laid out and The Miz just stands there shaking his head.

king of the mizfits | THE MIZ;
"You know I can understand why they decided to attack us, it has nothing to do with the titles or MVP and Bobby Lashley but something else..."

the greatest man that ever lived | AUSTIN ARIES;
"And what might that be?"

king of the mizfits | THE MIZ;
"Jealousy..simple as that! we're everything that they aren't, we excel where they fail."

the greatest man that ever lived | AUSTIN ARIES;
"Couldn't of said it better myself."

Austin Aries stands up and turns off the television then looks back The Miz.

the greatest man that ever lived | AUSTIN ARIES;
"The interfence of ReDragon is the only way that Tyson Kidd and Cesaro have a chance in this match."

king of the mizfits | THE MIZ;
"Tyson Kidd and Cesaro? They DON'T even belong in the same ring as us."

They both smile and laugh, continuing to talk about their oppenents for Monday Night Concussion.

the greatest man that ever lived | AUSTIN ARIES;
"I think they should get really familiar with this footage because they can expect the same fate."

king of the mizfits | THE MIZ;
"Its a fate that people should expect when they get in the ring with us."

Austin Aries gets a serious look on his face as he changes the subject to something he finds quite

the greatest man that ever lived | AUSTIN ARIES;
"You know what I would like to know, how you can possibly have a pay per view without the greatest tag team even on the card? "

king of the mizfits | THE MIZ;
"I was wondering the same thing, assumed it was a mistake."

the greatest man that ever lived | AUSTIN ARIES;
"Ohhh..it's a mistake alright..a huge mistake!"

king of the mizfits | THE MIZ;
"I didn't think Paul Heyman would be that foolish."

Suddenly a soft knock is heard at the door and within afew seconds Austin Aries quickly stood up and answered the door to Renee Young standing there with a serious look on her face, wanting to know the answer to questions just like anyone else.

aew's own interviewer | RENEE YOUNG;
"Austin Aries, I was told I could find you here..it's nice to finally meet you once again."

the greatest man that ever lived | AUSTIN ARIES;
"Well..the honors all yours."

Austin Aries says that with a big smile, not taking his eyes off her.

aew's own interviewer | RENEE YOUNG;
"I was wondering if I could get a few comments from you with regards to ReDragon and your oppenents for Concussion, Tyson Kidd and Cesaro."

the greatest man that ever lived | AUSTIN ARIES;
"Of course, they ALL wanna talk to the greatest man that ever lived."

The Miz started to smirk then stood up and walked towards the door but before he left the room, he said something..looking at Austin Aries.

king of the mizfits | THE MIZ;
"I will leave you to it man."

The Miz walked out of the room, shutting the door behind him and now it was just Austin Aries and Renee Young standing there. She looks at him and begins to speak.

aew's own interviewer | RENEE YOUNG;
"First and foremost I have to ask you about ReDragon, a team that blames you for costing them the tag team titles and with good reas-"

the greatest man that ever lived | AUSTIN ARIES;
"Cost them the tag team titles? The truth is they have NO ONE to blame but themselves. Let me explain something to you, ReDragon never had a chance at winning those titles at the pay per view, when we entered that match it was four on two and they STILL couldn't get the job done against MVP and Bobby Lashley. Now, before Kyle O'Reilly and Bobby Fish might not of had our attention but they sure as hell have it now and that's not something they want going forward. Just look at them..they have MMA wannabes written all over them, what have they accomplished thats even worth mentioning?"

aew's own interviewer | RENEE YOUNG;
"They have had some success in Japan."

the greatest man that ever lived | AUSTIN ARIES;
"JAPAN? Well..in that case I stand correct. I can really see how they could be jealous of a tag team like this, I mean we've already done the one thing that they couldn't do and thats win the tag team titles. In all the time that ReDragon spent attacking people after the match, what exactly did it accomplish? Did it help them secure a title shot at the belts that they want so badly? No and that's exactly my point..it accomplished absolutely nothing, bringing them no closer to that goal and to us it just proved how jealous they really are. At some point ReDragon will step into the ring with us and when that happens we'll make them wish they were still in Japan because that beating that we took will be nothing compared to what we have in store for them."

She just simply nods her head and gets ready to ask the next question.

aew's own interviewer | RENEE YOUNG;
"Now that brings me to your oppenents for this week Tyson Kidd and Cesaro, do you feel prepared for this match? "

the greatest man that ever lived | AUSTIN ARIES;
"Haha..do I feel prepared for this match? Do you even realize who I am? I'm the greatest man that ever lived, the common denominator of greatness and a man that clearly needs no introduction, I feel prepared EVERYTIME I step into that ring and as far as Tyson Kidd and Cesaro go I hope they come into this match knowing that they have no chance against us, you see individually The Miz and Austin Aries are the two best wrestlers that this business has ever seen, quite simply the very definition of greatness."

Austin Aries looks to the camera with a cocky smile on his face then looks back at Renee Young as she proceeds with the next question for A Double.

aew's own interviewer | RENEE YOUNG;
"Anything else you'd like to add with regards to your match on Monday Night Concussion?"

the greatest man that ever lived | AUSTIN ARIES;
"As a matter of fact I would like to say something else. First I will start with Tyson Kidd and really I dont know where to begin with him, heres someone that's had so much hype attached to his name just based on the fact that he was the last person to graduate from the Hart family dungeon, like that even means anything these days..I mean ten years ago it might have mattered and when you look at all the talent that came out of that dungeon I would say Tyson Kidd has accomplished the least. Cesaro unlike Tyson Kidd ACTUALLY has some talent but come Concussion all that talent won't matter, especially against the greatest tag team EVER and we will prove that our win against EC3 & Brodus Clay two weeks ago wasn't a accident. Cesaro, last week you might of won the Intercontential title but it's the way you won the title that I have a problem with! What you did was STOLE the title and for that I have no repect for you. For us this match is about making an example and thats exactly what we intend on doing with Cesaro and Tyson Kidd, for those two its gonna feel like a long night but hey, theres no shame in being beatin by the BEST."

aew's own interviewer | RENEE YOUNG;
"Austin, thank you very much for your time and good luck on Monday!"

the greatest man that ever lived | AUSTIN ARIES;
"You might wanna save that for our oppenents, they clearly need it more then us."

Austin Aries once again says that with a cocky smile as she looks toward the camera and rolls here eyes, probably wondering how one man's ego could be so big. The camera then zooms out and takes one final look at this five star room as the AEW logo once again fades up and the scene fades out.
