starRING: the Miz, Austin Aries & Renee Young..

It's a few hours since Concussion has gone off air as The Miz is seen walking backstage, covered in sweat.. Austin Aries is seen standing behind him as Renee Young appears wearing an expensive dress..

the femme fatale of AEW broadcasting | RENEE YOUNG;
"Austin Aries! Miz! Can I get a few words.."

king of the mizfits | THE MIZ;
"Yeah.. Hey Austin, she wants a few words.."

The Miz taps Austin in the gut, motioning to Austin who turns around.. He too has perspiration on his head.. he towels it off speaking..

future greatness | AUSTIN ARIES;
"Hey Renee, what would you like to know from the greatest two tag team wrestlers in this business today.."

the femme fatale of AEW broadcasting | RENEE YOUNG;
"Well, congrats on both your win against EC3 and Brodus Clay.."

As Austin goes to reply, The Miz puts his hand over the mic smirking..

"Please Austin, let me handle this one.. *smirks* Listen Renee.. That wrestling match tonight was a waste of time.. A joke.. I can't believe it was a waste of mine and Austin's time.. You see we need to sink our teeth into competition.. *smirks* Give us RedDragon.. MVP & Lashley even.. *scoffs* Pfft.. Frustrates me to say the least.."

the femme fatale of AEW broadcasting | RENEE YOUNG;
"EC3 and Brodus Clay are not that easy to beat.. But it's ok I think AEW Management answered your prayers in your next match.."

"What do you mean? I have to do a press junket next week.. I'll be available the week after MAYBE depending on who our opponent is.."

Renee bites her bottom lip, she pauses before continuing..

"It's a match versus Tyson Kidd & Cesaro.."

"Hahahaha.. You're joking right? Hey Austin.. Hear this? Apparently AEW wants us to face Tyson Kidd and Cesaro.."

future greatness | AUSTIN ARIES;
"What.. Who's that?"

"I don't know.. Do you?"

"I don't know.."

The Miz and Austin Aries laugh..

"Tyson Kidd & Cesaro are not easy beats.. They've accomplished a lot and within AEW and they're not just a walk in the park.."

"And that's funny too.. Don't you see Renee, it doesn't matter if you're Cesaro, Tyson Kidd or MVP.. You're not The Miz.. *smirks* You're not Austin Aries.. *smirks* And you're not the greatest wrestling tag team to enter AEW today.. We're the future, merely speaking to us brings good fortune or misery depending on which side of us you see.. We're the future, everyone else is merely living in it.."

The Miz puts his hand on the mic, sweat pouring off his face with a maniacal look on his face..

"We're men of action.. *smirks* And if we face Tyson & Cesaro or MVP and Lashey.. We're men of action.. And remember.. I'm The Miz.. And I'm.. AWESOME!!"

Before Renee can ask any questions both men walk away celebrating and high-fiving each other as the camera fades out..

SCENE TWO: FORMING A BOND.. FORGING OF A TEAM..

starRING: THE MIZ, Maryse & Austin Aries..

The camera pans past the refreshments table, backstage at Prudential Center as some AEW Employees are seen running around getting everything ready for Concussion.. The camera then pans between one of their legs, around a corner into an air vent.. With the precision of a security drone the camera pans past the AEW's Diva Showers as the likes of Candice Michelle, Eva Maree and Gail Kim are seen showering in separate cubicles unfortunately steam covers most their bodies as the camera drone suddenly turns and heads further down the corridor as voices are heard talking.. The camera follows the muffled voices as the camera stops near a grate as The Miz is seen with Maryse..

"Babe, that flight in was hell.. *sighs* I missed you.."

queen of the elite | MARYSE;
"Aww.. You say the nicest things.."

Maryse kisses her man, they embrace a little.. A coughing is heard in the corner as the camera pans to Austin Aries, shades on his head watching the two of them as he reclines on one of the two black leather lounges in the lush locker room..

future greatness | AUSTIN ARIES;
"Hey Guys, someone's in the room you know.."

"Yeah we know.."

queen of the elite | MARYSE;
"Yeah we do.."

future greatness | AUSTIN ARIES;
"Mike, we need to get our minds in the game, tonight's the night we start our future here and we need to be on the same page.."

The Miz scoffs..

"This week will be a walk in the park, with the most deadliest tag team partner on the roster as my partner and the most gorgeous women in the world on my arm.. *smirks* No one stands a chance.."

future greatness | AUSTIN ARIES;
"HA! *smiles* I almost couldn't say that sentence without laughing.. As for the kind words, the feeling's mutual.. They don't understand what they've unleashed on AEW.. And with Maryse looking after our interest we can't lose.."

queen of the elite | MARYSE;
"I am happy to help where I can, but I too have titles to hunt guys.."

The Miz nods..

"That's right babe.. Maryse has her own future and we will do whatever we can to help her also.."

future greatness | AUSTIN ARIES;
"We're the complete package, The Greatest Tag Team known to AEW.."

queen of the elite | MARYSE;
"I am going to grab some bottles of water, I'll be back in a bit.."

Maryse walks out the door, pecking her man on the cheek.. She closes the door behind her as The Miz goes and sits down next to Austin Aries on the lounge..

"Austin, I can't wait till tonight.. I can smell the victory in the air.. *smirks* Cesaro and Tyson wont know what hit them!"

future greatness | AUSTIN ARIES;
"And after Cesaro and Tyson.. We can only move up the ladder.. It's an insult that they don't value us better.."

"They undervalue us as they underestimate us.. I don't think they realise the potential we have, the ability, the charisma the talent to go wherever it is we need to get to.. Be it individual gold or tag team gold this company is ripe for the picking.."

The Miz adjust himself on the lounge, looking at the door..

"I'm lucky Austin, soon we're both going to reap rewards in AEW.."

"I know the future is only getting brighter one day after the other.. Tonight, we're going to show why we are the perfect team, no one stands a chance against THE FUTURE-"

Austin looks a little confused..

"It sounds like our mantra, our mission statement to AEW.. Wer're THE FUTURE of this industry, this organisation and this division.. We're staking our claim and dominating like only the two of us can!"

The Miz & Austin Aries smile as they high-five each other..

"I've got to head to the gym to get pumped for tonight's match.."

"I'll meet you there later, I want to wait for Maryse.."

"Yeah I'm sure.."

Austin Aries smirks raising an eyebrow as he heads out of the locker room, The Miz sits there taping his foot smiling broadly at how his plans are all falling into place as the camera drone bumps the side of the vent making a loud thud noise.. The Miz hears the noise and looks up, the camera drone suddenly flies back through the air vent and disappears into the backstage area as the scene cuts away..

SCENE THREE: TELLING IT AS IT IS..

starRING: THE MIZ..

"I CAME TO PLAY.." hits the P.A as the camera pans to the ramp way was The Miz walks out and starts walking down.. He rolls into the ring and grabs a mic standing up dusting himself off smirking broadly..

"I know most of you thought I would be upset at getting this expensive Armani suit dirty.. *shrugs* But I'm not.. You see The Miz is celebrating.. *smirks* Celebrating the impact Austin and I made last week.. But not just in the ring, in the AEW.. *laughs* We made the impact we wanted to, we made AEW take notice of the greatest tag team known to man.. The Future of AEW.."

He paces around as he lets his words sink in..

"A lot of people underestimate us.. I've seen the post on twitter, the facebook posts and predicts from the AEW Universe thinking that the likes of Cesaro & Tyson Kidd are going to win this week when we face them.. *scoffs* Are you people nuts? *laughs* Have you been sniffing the baby oil Tyson Kidd uses to make his muscles shine before entering a ring.. Give me a break, a midget like Tyson Kidd will be crushed under the awesomeness that is The Miz.. Even Austin Aries could beat him with one hand tied behind his back..."

He laughs pacing some more as the fans boo..

"I think AEW is trying to test The Miz & Austin Aries and I do not mean our wrestling skills.. You see last time we were in this very ring we defeated EC3 and Brodus Clay, we're undefeated since our return and when we face Tyson Kidd & Cesaro nothing will be any different I assure you.. The Miz and Austin Aries do not care what past you've had.. What titles you've flung over your shoulder, you see boys we see you as another victim to THE FUTURE which is AEW.. We intend to make you a victim to our cause, the only cause that ever truly matters in this company.."

He pauses, boos radiating around his ears as he smiles again.. Showing his million dollar whites for all to see..

"The Rise and Fall of AEW relys truly on these two shoulders, with Austin Aries helping me carry this company it can only get better than this.. You see Austin Aries and I are Adroit wrestlers and men.. if you don't know what Adroit means, look it up.. *laughs* Most of you uneducated fools here in the arena and backstage probably don't know what that word means.. Cesaro, Tyson.. You two don't need to look it up, tonight you will live it courtesy of Austin and I.. We're the future, the ONLY FUTURE this company has.. It's time everyone on the tag team roster and the whole AEW take notice.. We have it all, the looks, the skills, the charisma, the women.. The millions of dollars and of course the most lucrative contracts in AEW.. Thanks to AEW Management.. *smirks* I would thank AEW for the contract, but in all honesty it is AEW who should thank Austin and I for entering and soon to be redefining this company starting from the garbage up.. Now that brings me to our opponents this week AGAIN.."

He sighs, apparently reluctant to continue..

"It's kind of dumb to speak about the two people who tonight Austin and I intend to deliver a beat down like never before.. *smirks* But I will.. You see our beat down is charity for you people sitting around ringside, live or at home watching this for the fiftieth re-run.. *smirks* We're planning on doing the charity work that so many other wrestlers and tag teams before us couldn't do.. We're here to ensure that AEW doesn't need to suffer the indignity of having to watch two more waste of spaces like Kidd & Cesaro wrestle.. *laughs* If you want to call what you do wrestling.. What type of Neanderthal returns to his childhood and spins someone around the ring.. *scoffs* That's the weirdest move I've ever seen.. Then an uppercut as another move.. *puts his hand on his chin* I can promise I'll be spotting that move, we don't want my million dollar movie smile to get damaged by someone who isn't worthy to lace my wrestling boots.. *laughs* You see Cesaro "may" have had something in AEW some time ago, but he's time's passed.. He doesn't realise he's old news, the past, the ashes of this company.. I'm.. Not Austin Aries and I are The Future and we're here to ensure that Cesaro learns his place and disappears into the dark abyss known as unemployment.. *smirks as the fans continue to boo* I know.. It's disgusting that he's on the roster.. I hope we can do something about that this week.."

He continues laughing cockily, very pleased with how this promo is going.. The fans are looking outraged, booing and behaving insanely..

"Calm down everyone, it's ok.. We'll promise to rid you of those two idiots, you don't need to cause a riot over AEW's lack of booking techniques and removing its ranks of the dead weight.. *smirks* It's why they hired Austin and I after all.. Now, about my other opponent, the man known as Tyson Kidd, he could have a bright future.. That I will admit, however I don't think it's in wrestling.. I'm sure there is a milk carton awaiting his "missing" picture somewhere.. Or some dumpster needing a professional cleaner or wait, what about a toilet needing just his hairstyle to clean the bowl.. *laughs* When I was on location shooting Marine 4, I saw Tyson Kidd in AEW.. He was nothing more than a cheap imitation of me.. He was cocky, thought he was gods gift to the ring and you know, that's where the similarities ended you see Tyson Kidd is a loser.. *crowd boos* The only claim to fame he has is he was taught in the Hart Family Dungeon, one of the last students of Stu Hart.. *does a mocking voice* Blah Blah Blah, I wrestled in Stu Hart's Dungeon.. Blah Blah Blah.. *The Miz does hand actions mimicking someone talking* Bret Hart wrestled me and made me his bitch.. Blah Blah Blah.. *smirks as he continues* No one likes me.. I can't really wrestle, I wear baby oil and wear adult diapers in the privacy of my own home.. I even suck my thumb.. *mocks Tyson again as he stops moving his hand and does a "cry face" action* Boo Hoo Tyson.. Gez! Save us the hassle of the fact you're even in this company.. I bet you and Cesaro don't even know the meaning of tag team, being one half of the most crucial team, blending in the ring as one, becoming twice great, twice as awesome.. *smirks* Twice as brilliant as anyone who sets foot opposite you.. You too are like Cesaro, basing your whole career on the ashes of a long-past family fate.. The Harts may have been crucial in WWE, but if you haven't realised this is AEW.. We're the Future of the Wrestling Business and you and Cesaro have no business being here.. But we'll take care of that later tonight.."

He laughs again, he goes to put the mic on the canvas as the boos from the crowd continue, however he picks it back up smirking..

"I'm not done.. It's ok, I wont leave you with a bad taste in your mouth which is the careers of Cesaro and Tyson Kidd coming to an end tonight.. *smirks* I'm here to tell you why Austin and I will be victorious tonight.. Partially it's cause we're so awesome it seeps from the very fibre of our beings, we're perfection incarnate and tonight will be no different then any other time he and I have entered the ring.. Look at our past histories, I've dominated in tag team no matter whoever it is I've been in a team with.. John Morrison, R-Truth, Mizdow.. All of these and many more have been forged in my past.. But I did say earlier it's about the future not the past right.. So let me tell you this, the future holds what WE as The Future set for it.. Austin Aries and I have a plan, we're here to dominate, destroy and decimate any person or tag team unfortunate to cross our paths.. That goes for our opponents this week Tyson Kidd & Cesaro or future opponents, future tag teams and future title shots.. AEW is the foundation of the Future for us.. We're going to bring AEW down to its very foundations and if anyone anywhere backstage want to try something, be it RedDragon, MVP & Lashley or anyone else.. I dare them to try.. 'Cause we're THE FUTURE of this company and you like everyone else who stand to oppose us will fall at our feet defeated.. When we pin Cesaro or Tyson this week think as the ref's hands hit the canvas pinning them 1.. 2.. 3.. *does counting on his fingers* The bell will echo our victory.. One of many to come.. Tonight is more about taking names, it's forging our future and Cesaro and Tyson are nothing more than a blimp on the radar for us.. For Austin Aries and I want the tag team titles, if we need to destory a thousand men to get it, I guess AEW better do some more hiring, cause this current roster is a waste of space!"

He pauses for emphasis..

"Austin Aries will come out and say his words later.. I'm done for now, but before I leave remember one thing, let it seep into your being cause no one stands a chance against me.. For I'm THE MIZ.. And I'm.. AAAAWWEESSSOOMMEEE!"

The Miz drops the mic on the canvas, the camera pans the large packed Prudential Center arena as The Miz rolls out of the ring and walks up the ramp way.. As he gets to the top he salutes again as "I CAME TO PLAY" hits the P.A again, laughing he heads backstage to get ready for his match, the camera pans out to a commercial at this stage..
